Create, delete, or rename folders in New Yahoo Mail

Don't let a flood of messages add more stress to your already busy life! Create, edit, and delete folders with ease in New Yahoo Mail to keep your email organized and manageable. 

On the left pane, click Folders

Click New Folder.

At the top of the list, write the name of the new folder.

Click Add to create the folder.
- Use the search box to locate your new folder. Click it to open.

On the left pane, click Folders

Use the Search Folder box to locate the folder.

Mouse over the folder you want to add a subfolder to.

Click the More Options icon

Select Create subfolder.

Enter the subfolder name in the New Folder box.

Click Add to create the subfolder.

 Folders with messages or subfolders can't be deleted - To delete folders or subfolders, make sure to delete all messages or subfolders first.

On the left pane, click Folders

Use the Search Folder box to locate the folder or subfolder.

Mouse over the folder you want to delete.

Click the More Options icon

Select Delete folder.

On the left pane, click Folders

Use the Search Folder box to locate the folder or subfolder.

Mouse over the folder you want to rename.

Click the More Options icon

Select Rename folder.

Edit the folder's name.
