Monday, August 11, 2025: Today on Young and Restless, Audra deflects Nate’s questions, Holden learns that Damian is dead, and Claire admits her doubts to her mother. Read the last Y&R recap: Phyllis agreed to use her hacking skills for Cane’s gain then told Billy Cane withdrew the offer. (This day ahead recap episode airs in the USA on August 11. Expect spoilers! Recaps go live by 4:15 PM EST daily.) In the park, Tessa starts clapping as Daniel impresses her with the music he wrote.
He’s bashful but she thinks he’s come along way. He says he couldn’t have done it without her. Things are awkward as she hugs him.
They talk about his finger grip and she asks him to relax it. He asks how things are with her wife.
She admits there hasn’t been much progress with Mariah and she won’t back off on moving out. Tessa explains her wife is in therapy but that’s not making her feel any better. Daniel hopes it will give her wife some strength.
Tessa wonders if she should be afraid for herself and her daughter. She has no idea what is going on and it is scaring her. He urges her not to scare herself into giving up on her partner. Tessa wonders if her wife did something awful. Maybe she snapped?
She needs to accept the possibility that this could be the end and there might not be a future for her and her wife.
At Crimson Lights, Sharon fills Mariah in on what happened in Nice. Mariah is glad she’s home and safe.
Her mom is concerned about her leaving her wife and daughter. Mariah changes the subject but her mom won’t drop it. What happened that made her leave? Mariah says she’s seeing a therapist to work things out. Sharon pushes for information but isn’t getting any. She reminds her the baby needs her.
Snapping, Mariah insists this is the way it has to be. Sharon can’t back off. Mariah explains she needs to work this out alone. She has to change herself so she can be in her daughter’s life again. Her mom says there’s nothing she could have done to make that necessary. “Don’t bet on that,” Mariah says.
Sharon insists she’s a good person. Her daughter knows she loves her, but that’s not enough. Her mom doesn’t think she can go on living like this. Snapping again, Mariah says she needs to back off or she will have to cut her off too.
At the Abbott house, Kyle fills his father in on Audra trying to plant doubts in Claire’s head.
His dad reminds him that she tried to seduce him. Kyle said he was only testing how far she was willing to go.
He says he’s been honest with Claire about everything. His father doesn’t think Audra will give up without a fight. Kyle has never seen Claire so angry with her grandfather. They all tried to warn her.
Jack is sure that Audra will lash out for spite. Kyle is determined not to let her ruin his relationship.
At the tack house, Claire fills her mom in on Victor making a deal with Audra to destroy her relationship.
Victoria didn’t want to think her daddy would sink so low. Claire vents it’s one thing after another with her granddad.
She fumes and explains that Audra claimed that she’d been with Kyle. Of course, he denied it. Her mom asks if she doubts him. Claire looks sheepish. She’s feeling out of her depth and has never had to deal with anything like this before.
Audra makes Kyle turn dark and Claire has issues with trust since Jordan. She wonders if it’s a mistake to believe Kyle over Audra. Her mom is sure Audra has an agenda and assures her she will help her.
Claire feels like she can’t trust anything any longer…. plus, she can’t ask her dad for his advice. They wish they could have Cole’s suggestions. It would likely be something sensible. Her mom urges her to let this go for now.
Holding hands, they are sure Cole will always be there to trust him. Claire is sure she can always trust Kyle.

He admits he’s afraid the fight has gone out of her. They hope they can get her back on track after Damian’s funeral. Nate senses something is wrong with Audra. She assures him it’s nothing but then admits she’s decided against having Victor as he backer.
He assumes Victor did something to her and wants to confront him. Stopping him, she says he didn’t do anything. Nate needs an explanation for why she suddenly changed her mind about Victor. He remembers Kyle taunting her that the Newman might pull his funding. She changes the topic to his dad brother.
Lily pops up and welcomes Nate back with a hug. She asks him to keep her posted on the funeral plans and announces she’s set up a meeting with Cane. She determined to head off a threat and says Cane is a threat to all of them. Nate suggests that Victor could be stirring the pot about Cane for some nefarious reason.
Nate hopes she’s careful and hates having Cane back in their lives. He wishes he’d realize the damage he’s done and leave them alone.
After Lily leaves, Nate heads for the door running into Kyle. He stalks over to Audra and tells her she’s lucky he didn’t just expose her. He says she’s lost and it’s over.
Audra thinks he’s underestimating her. He says she can’t beat him and he won’t hurt Claire. “You’ve met your match in me,” he declares. She squints, unimpressed by the though talk.
She insists he had to summon all his strength not to sleep with her. She’s confident that he is weak and can’t resist her forever. As she pulls him into a kiss, Claire walks in and sees them. Her eyes bug out.
Victoria runs into Jack at Crimson Lights and they talk about Audra trying to break up their kids.
She hopes there is no truth in what Audra has been claiming. Jack says she’s emboldened and out to cause trouble. That has Victoria worried.
Lily goes to Cane’s suite at the GCAC. She uses his key and finds the toy train. She’s startled when Holden shows up.
He explains that Dumas texted him with a business opportunity. She says his real name is Ashby and she used to be married to him. Holden plays ignorant and she asks if he’s an opportunist. What has Cane offered him?
He claims that Dumas heard of the work he did with Damian and wanted to speak to him. As he vents about Damian betraying him, she realizes he doesn’t know his old friend is dead and explains he was murdered. She urges him not to trust Cane and think twice about anything he offer him.
