        The kitchen sink is one of the most important components in food preparation. Careful considerations should be taken to its position and height so that the owner can cook and clean properly. Typically, a kitchen sink is located near or facing a window. Height should be 850 mm. (33") to 900 mm. (35") from the floor, this may depend on the user's standing height. Basic shapes are single-bowl, double-bowl, single-bowl with drain and double-bowl with drain. There are generally two types the top-mounted and under-mounted. Sizes vary a lot so it is suggested to make measurements of your existing dishes and cooking pans to get an idea of the size you need. A good depth for a kitchen sink is 178 mm. (7") to 200 mm. (8").
