Episode 1: Transition The episode begins with the first question in the game. The main character is asked how he feels about his father. Three options will appear on the screen, along with a bar at the bottom. When the bar runs out, the character will make a decision on his own. I love my father. I didn’t know him well. He’s no longer with us. Situations like this will arise regularly. In this genre, dialogue choices often affect the story and relationships between Robert and the characters. At this point, the chosen line has no consequences. In the future, we will focus only on those moments that impact the story.
In the next scene, Robert interrogates a bandit about the location of the villain Polog’s base. Then you must choose whether to throw him off the balcony onto a mattress or pull him up. Regardless of your action, a hint will appear in the left corner: He will remember this. Such situations shape the relationships between the hero and the characters. For example, here your decision will affect the dialogue the next time you meet this guy.
Next, Robert activates the mechanoid and flies to the steel mill. Sometimes in cutscenes, you will need to press buttons or perform actions. If you don’t want to do this, disable QTE mode in the menu. During the fight, the hero breaks the guard’s tablet. To extract data from it, you need to complete a mini-game. The task is to move a cube across the bits and perform certain actions, which require you to press buttons in a specific sequence. Similar puzzles will appear regularly throughout the game. Here is the solution: Move the cube to the bit with the hammer and build yourself a bridge. Do the same on the next section. Move the cube, ignoring all bits, to the last hammer and activate it. Move it to the southern square, then extract the data. Return to the bit with the crossed hammers and change the direction of the path. Collect the two data sections on the right. Exit the puzzle through the square with the processor icon.
Following the coordinates from the tablet, Robert sneaks into the villain’s lair and, standing in front of the chair, says: It’s over, Polog. Prepare to die. I’ll take you down. Behind the chair is the bandit from the beginning of the episode, and while he talks, Robert sets up the robot to either kick or step on the opponent, who will turn into a toxic. During the battle with Polog’s team, the hero will be persuaded to retreat, but he either ignores them or replies: Lies. You’re bluffing. In any case, the mech will be destroyed. Several months later, the hero attends a press conference where he is asked three questions. What do you say to your fans I did my best. Thank you. I tried for you. Is Mechaman retiring? No comment. Overall, yes. Not yet. Polog destroyed you—don’t you consider this a family disgrace? Give a neutral answer and gain reputation. Leave silently. Attack the reporter and lose reputation. Your answer to the last question affects the hero’s reputation in the eyes of others. After making your choice, a hint will appear in the left corner: Everyone will remember this.
Next, the hero finds himself in front of an electronics store, watching the conference news through the window. The silence is broken by robbers who steal a TV. You should be ashamed. Put it back. I was watching that, actually. One of the bandits approaches Robert. I’m Mechaman. Someone with nothing to lose. Honestly, I don’t even know. Before the whole gang jumps on the guy, you can choose to punch with the left or right hand. As a result, the superheroine Blondie Blazer intervenes and pops Robert’s shoulder back in. I’ll see a doctor. Have you done that before? I can handle it myself.
Then the characters end up in a bar. During the conversation with Blondie, you need to make three choices. When she drinks in one gulp Rough day? Sounds like a challenge. Impressive. Why have you been broke for so many years? I like helping people. Reputation up. I don’t know… Reputation down. I’m not good at anything else. Blondie says she has a proposal You’ve intrigued me. Hopefully it’s decent. A proposal in a bar? Robert accidentally drinks pure alcohol and spills it on his companion, who then heads to the restroom. Flambe approaches the hero and asks what an ordinary person is doing in a superhero bar, to which he replies: Mister Wet Tail. Doctor Dumbass. Guy in black glasses at the bar.
Then Flambe will show his fire superpower, and you’ll have a choice of what to pour on him. Water. The fire will go out, and he’ll try to hit the hero, but slip on an ice cube and break a tooth on the bar counter. Alcohol. Flambe’s head will catch fire, and he’ll run away. Everyone will remember this choice. Robert will be kicked out of the bar, and the next time you meet, Flambe will remind you how you insulted him. In any case, Blondie will find the hero on the street and ask what happened. Defused the situation or Sparks flew, depending on your previous choice. My bad. The guy fell. Then the heroes will fly to a billboard, where the conversation continues. Thanks for helping. I missed this. Sorry for spitting. After a short life story from Robert, Blondie will approach him, and you’ll have two options. Kiss. Choose this option to start a romance. Hold back.
In any case, she’ll tell you that the CDC (Superhero Dispatch Center) is offering the hero a job as a dispatcher and mentor for rookies. Is this an interview? My suit is destroyed. That’s really unethical. If Robert proves himself, the CDC is ready to fully restore his mech. Listen to the details, then choose one of the options to start your training. When do I start? What if I refuse? What does a dispatcher do? The Dispatcher’s job is to send superheroes on missions according to their qualities, such as: Fearlessness. Endurance. Agility. Charisma. Intelligence.
Event notifications will appear on the map. For example, an assault on a hideout, which will require fearlessness and endurance according to the requirements. These are the qualities of Phenoman. When an orange checkmark appears over the task, check how well you matched the hero to the problem. To use a hero again, wait until they finish the mission, return to the CDC, and rest. To make dispatching easier, from now on we’ll describe the event and which heroes to send. For this situation, follow the algorithm: Dorm inspection: Smarty, Pompon. Exhibition opening: Brownnoser. Sometimes you’ll need to participate in solving the event. In this case, choose Add a couple of jokes. High-speed chase: Phenoman, Smarty. Monster attack: Betonella, Equilibrium. Hospital takeover: Any hero. Helping grandma: Smarty. Negotiations: Brownnoser. Hunt for El Diablito: Choose any four characters.
Return home and before the episode ends, give the dog some cereal or say: Who’s a good boy? Everything will be fine. Episode 1
