One person was killed early Friday morning in a three-car collision at the intersection of FM 723 and FM 359, near Foster High School, authorities reported. The collision occurred around 7 a.m. and forced parents, school buses and students head to find another way to campus. According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, three vehicles were involved in the accident that occurred at 7:04 a.m., with one vehicle entrapping its driver and catching fire. That driver died as a result of the accident, although the FBCSO has yet to release the identity. FBCSO added “though the accident happened near schools in the area, there were no impact to the schools and at this time, we do not suspect any students were involved in the accident.”
An investigation into the wreck is still ongoing. Precinct 1 Constable Chad Norvell said the intersection was reopened to traffic just after 12 p.m. Friday. (责任编辑:) |
