1958 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Additional Info:

This is an absolutely gorgeous 1958 Coral Red VW Rag Top Beetle being offered just in time for fun in the sun! It was restored 5 years ago so all ‘new’ parts and work now have ~6200 miles on them. The electrical system has been converted to 12 Volts. Power provided by a fresh, rebuilt 1776 cc dual port, dual carburetor, 85 HP engine that sounds and runs fantastic. There is zero rust on this car.Pan and heater channels are in perfect condition. The exterior has a new Coral Red paint job that is just stunning. Ragtop is new. New running board chrome trim strips have been installed since pictures taken. The interior is allnew - new white vinyl seats, new carpet, new doorpanels, new headliner, newly painted dash and trim - all look fantastic. The floor pans are new, rebuilt front end, new tie rods, new bushings, new shocks, new brakes all around, new brake lines, new fuel line, new electrical wiring harness, and new seat belts.The radio is a new 200 Watt Custom Autosound stereo with auxiliary input connection and new Sony speakers behind rear seat. There are two rear fender skirts included but not currently installed. Everything on the car works as it should - wipers, lights, wiring, latches, etc. This Beetle originally came without windshield washers so I purchased a period correct washer bottle & new washer nozzle & hoses (not yet installed) and installed a wiper/washer switch. Those parts are included. This Bug was restored with attention to detail, has been meticulouslymaintained, and is exciting and a pleasure to drive. It has new tires & wheels, runs excellently, the steering is tight, it’s very quick (it will leave rubber!), and handles terrific on the highway for those long weekend trips. A 1958 Rag Top Beetle in this condition is very hard to find and it is sure to appreciate in value while being enjoyed.
