The Army-Navy game is one of the most traditional rivalries within the country, and this year's game is no different.

"Beat Navy" and "Beat Army" will ring throughout the country as the two military teams go head-to-head for the 125th edition of the series on Saturday, December 14.

Both teams are debuting new uniforms. Army's "Screaming Eagles" uniform is in honor of the 101st Airborne Division that played a large part in the Battle of the Bulge and defense of Bastogne in World War II.

The uniform will feature the division's mascot, with the colors reflecting the fog and snow in the Ardennes Forest.

Navy will have "Jolly Roger" uniforms to honor the namesake aviation squadron that was established in 1943. The uniform will feature the Jolly Rogers' tagline, "Fear the Bones," and their callsign, "Victory." When a player overlaps their gloves, they form the Jolly Rogers' skull and crossbones insignia.

The Army-Navy Game is a college football rivalry matchup between the Army Black Knights and the Navy Midshipmen. The game has come to embody the spirit of the armed forces; the Black Knights come from the United States Military Academy at West Point and the Midshipmen are from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis.

The first game between Army and Navy was on November 29, 1890. The two academies have played each other annually for all but ten years since.

Since 2009, the game has been held on the second Saturday of December. Now, the game marks the end of the regular college football season.

President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance will have a suite at the game. Trump invited Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to join him, and on Friday it was announced that Daniel Penny, a military veteran who was acquitted of homicide this week after choking a New York subway rider, is Vance's guest. Vance called Penny a "good guy."

Since 1901, there have been ten sitting presidents who have attended the Army-Navy games. The first was Theordore Roosevelt, who attended in 1901 and 1905. Trump attended three games during his first term in office. He also attended as the president-elect in 2016.

The game can be watched on CBS, and opening kickoff will be at 3 p.m. EST.

The CBS Sports' extension will allow for international viewers in the United Kingdom and Australia to watch as well.

Navy is leading the ongoing series with a record of 62-55-7. Over the last 13 matchups, however, only three ended with a margin of two scores or more.

This season, the Navy Midshipmen are at 8-3, while the Army Black Knights are 11-1.

Navy broke a losing streak in 2015 and the team has since won six of the eight games against Army.

That said, Army's quarterback, Bryson Daily, has recorded 29 rushing touchdowns this season, tying with Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty for the most this season.

Army also won its program's first ever conference title in the AAC Conference Championship game over Tulane. Twelve Army players were named to all-conference teams.

On Navy's side, eight players were named to all-conference teams and Navy is averaging 247.4 rushing yards per game.

Quarterback Blake Horvath was named a semifinalist for the Comeback Player of the Year, with his 11 touchdown passes tied for the third highest in Navy's school history. Horvath, however, didn't play in Navy's last game due to a right thumb injury. He is expected to play against Army on Saturday.

USA TODAY Sportsbook Wire predicts that Army will win the game 28-24.

FanDuel Sportsbook has the money line for Navy at +205 and for Army at -255. The over under is set to 39.5, and Navy is against the spread at +6.5.

CBS' Tom Fornelli picked Army at -6.5. For the total game points, Fornelli suggests picking the under because since 2005, the under has outperformed in the games.

That said, Sportsbook Wire suggests taking the over.
