Freshology offers over 500 menu items designed by chefs and dietitians to provide customers with flavorful yet healthy meal. Customers can choose from any one of four plans that can be further personalized according to their health needs and individual taste. Freshology sources all their food locally and does not use any artificial preservatives or MSG to ensure the freshness of every meal. Freshology is available as a home delivery or local pick-up service twice a week, depending on the customer’s residence.

Freshology offers four menu plans:

Balance

Their most popular plan, Balance is a low-calorie and nutritionally-balanced option designed for weight loss without sacrificing taste. Their plan for women provides 1200 calories a day while the one for men delivers 1600 calories a day. They also offer a No Seafood option

Balance-Diabetes

Balance-D is a calorie-controlled, doctor-approved plan designed to comply with ADA, ACS, and USDA guidelines for cholesterol, sodium and fat. It’s also a crafted as a weight-loss diet plan and an effective way to manage pre-diabetes and prevent type-2 diabetes.

Keto-Carb30

Keto-Carb30 is a diet plan similar to Atkins in that it’s a high-protein, low-carb diet that replaces those carbs with fats. The plan is rich in all animal proteins, though a No Seafood option is also available. Keto-Carb30 consists of 1300 calories and an average of 30g of carbs a day.

Vegetarian

Freshology’s vegetarian option is similar to their Balance plan in terms of calorie count and sodium, fat, and cholesterol count. It is not a vegan option as their products can contain eggs and dairy products.

Meals from the Vegetarian and Balance menus are comprised of 25% protein, 50% carbs, and 25% fats and are designed in compliance with the American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society and US Department of Agriculture’s guidelines for cholesterol, sodium and fat.

Freshology provides home delivery or local pick-up depending on a customer’s residence. Customers receive their selected menus on Tuesdays and Fridays. Menus rotate every five weeks to prevent monotony. The home delivery option charges $9.99 per delivery. The local pick-up option requires customers to drive by one of their local health clubs specified by the company.

Freshology is priced in five- or seven-day meal plans, each with a choice of two or three meals a day. Plans range from $121.99 to 204.59. Customers may pause, cancel, or change their orders provided they comply with the requirments Freshology lists on their Terms of Service. Freshology also offers refunds if the product was damaged, insufficient, or the customer just didn’t like it. Their customer service phone number is available Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 9 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 12 pm.

Meals have an approximate refrigerator shelf-life of 7 days. Meals that haven’t been eaten should be placed in the freezer which can be stored for up to 30 days. The company is monitored, inspected, and certified by the USDA to ensure food safety and strictly adheres to the standard Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) food safety procedures.
