Bangsar is Kuala Lumpur's most popular nighttime entertainment district, peppered with some of the best nightclubs, pubs and bistros. Home to the elite and and affluents of KL, Bangsar is one constant party, especially during the weekends.

Two prominent shopping malls in Bangsar are Bangsar Shopping Centre and Bangsar Village. However, the Mid-Valley Mega Mall, located close-by, takes the cake when it comes to shopping. This area is known for serving some of the best Malay cuisine. Home to Malay warungs (family-owned restaurant/cafe), Indian banana leaf restaurants, and Indian Muslim mamak stalls (open-air food court), Bangsar is almost like an eat-street, but much more expensive. A large pasar malam (night market) on Sunday adds the cherry on top to the colourful Bangsar Baru.
