damsav , 06/22/2024 Sonos Dev Team, I hope you are listeningThe app update is almost unusable. Lots of new bad reviews are warranted. I have several Sonos systems and used to be able to go seamlessly to my different locations. Now the app acts like it has never seen my other systems and I need to reconnect sometimes several times in a day. I can no longer easily navigate to the music I want to play nor can I easily see or decide what is playing next. The app controls don’t fit on an iPhone screen for some crazy reason you can’t Read some of the buttons and you will need to back out several times just to find out where you are within the app. Anyone, including Grandparents and kids used to be able to jump on the system and easily use it. I now have friends family and employees telling me each day they can no longer interact or get the app to function. Is the volume now controlled by ai? Seriously it does not even slide up and down smoothly, it is almost like it is trying to anticipate where it thinks you want the volume rather than allowing you to move the volume slide on you own.

bhirt , 07/08/2025 Never buying a Sonos product again.I have been invested in Sonos for 15+ years and have spent countless dollars on dozens and dozens of your speakers and connect systems. Never again. This app is so terrible. The iOS integration is terrible. I cannot control the volume with the volume buttons while in the app. Now playing is not viewable outside the app from widgets, the lock screen, the control center, etc. so you cannot see what is playing or control it without going into the app. even something simple like “siri, next track” doesn’t work because of this poor integration. In the app, I am constantly pushed to your music service I don’t want. How come I can add and delete services as I like — except yours which is always there? Even though I have my apple music library first in my services, it shows up second on the home screen (behind Sonos Radio). On the search results page, my music is buried at the end. Searching only my music library requires me to horizontally scroll all the way to the right where my music library is last, even though it is first in my services. That is bad enough, but every time I go into search, the “All” button is defaulted to on, so this process happens every time I use the app. |
