Nice tool, but can be heavy on Domain Contoller CPU usage

A nice product that never crashed or gave us any issues, save one (see con). We continue to use the product for now, and have no complaints!

Does what it says, and does it very well. Great interface (especially if you’ve dug through Event Viewer in the past). Can’t beat the price - from what I can tell this product is unmatched if you want a free tool.

Just be on the lookout for high CPU usage spikes on domain controllers. We’d been troubleshooting this issue for a while, as it has been enough to trigger our monitoring alarms. Turns out, there were high numbers of WMI queries through RPC to all our domain controllers. I’m not able to debug the RPC/WMI issue as I’m far from a developer, but we did use Netwrix Documentation, Option 1, to alleviate the issue. Aside from this, we never had any issues with the product and are continuing to use it frequently. We are, however, pursuing alternatives such as integrating account lockout monitoring into our monitoring platform.
